Welcome 2019 and Happy New Year! The house is warm and it’s cold outside. One of my favorite things to do on a quiet morning is make a big pot of Drip Coffee and relax. Although some mornings are more rushed and I’d still like my coffee. In that case I have a different routine and I brew a quick French Press. Coffee can get you started in the morning or be a pick me-up in the afternoon. Which ever way coffee fits into your life there are a number of ways to make coffee at home depending on your taste and requirements.
Here are 4 ways to make coffee including their benefits
Cold brew coffee is better for drinkers with sensitive stomachs. Heat is not used at all in the process of making cold brew coffee, so the flavor tends to be smoother and the coffee is less acidic.

Drip coffee machines are simple and practical to use. You can brew a large quantity, if desired, in a short amount of time and most machines can be programmed to brew automatically.
Breville Grind Control
The innovative built-in grinder allows you to capture freshness and essential oils from beans by grinding right before you brew with “Steep and Release” technology. Choose to brew directly into a carafe, tall cup or travel mug to take on the go.
Bodum Chambord 8 Cup French Press
French Press coffee is richer and more caffeinated and full of antioxidants because the rich oils in the beans are present due to the fact that no paper filter is used.
A French press is one of the simplest ways to make coffee from freshly ground coffee. It is easy because there are no buttons, bells, whistles or electronics. It takes up only a small footprint on your counter yet is stylish, sophisticated and without waste. The Bodum Chambord 8 cup French Press is here.
Pour-over coffee is a slow hands-on experience that is mindful. Slowly pour just a bit of water over the grinds to saturate them for 30 seconds. Now using a pour-over kettle, which controls the amount of water that comes out, pour the water over the grinds at your own speed depending on your taste.

Why does some milk make more foam than others?
Foaming drinks requires air bubbles to circulate around the milk proteins. The protein molecules start to wrap around the air bubbles and foam is formed. The higher the protein in a milk or beverage the more froth will develop.
Protein content of different types of milk and milk beverages:
Skim milk 3.4% protein
1% m.f. milk 3.4% protein
2% m.f. milk 3.3% protein
3.25% m.f. milk 3.2% protein
Soy milk 2.7% protein
Almond milk 0.4% protein
